The Vendo Coin Changer

The Vendo Company produced two different coin changes to compliment their machines in the late forties to mid 1950s. The purpose of these coin changers was to change a quarter into five nickels because most of the coin mechanisms would not accept quarters, but would accept nickels. The Early version of the coin changer did not have the "empty window" while the later version did. These coin changers usually were hung on the wall near the machine.
