Refrigeration Unit

We like to always restore the original refrigeration units. We first disassemble them, clean and wire wheel them, then re-paint and use all new wiring, fan motors and thermostats. We powder coat the original fan brackets, and compressor covers, and mounting plates. We always use the correct electrical connectors and shielded connectors. The original refrigeration units were always less noisy than the new, cheap compressors made in China

Caution: It is our professional opinion that an antique Coke Machine with a correct original restored refrigeration system is worth more than a restored machine with a new replacement refrigeration system. A good example is like when assigning value to a professional restored vintage Corvette. They are always worth the most with the factory installed equipment in place...... A car with the original motor and trans with the correct matching numbers would be worth way more than a vintage Corvette with an after-market motor made in China.

Caution #2: All of the original refrigeration units were very heavy, and this weight kept the machines from tipping over, on top of you, when the main cabinet door was opened..... A Vendo 39 without the proper weight of an original compressor, is dangerous, and will tip forward, and could do serious injury.
